Rebecca Block (she/her) is the current Director of the Mindful University Project. Rebecca is a Manager of Health Promotion Initiatives in Health Promotion. She holds a BA in Health, Behavior, and Society from the Rochester and an MS in Community Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®), a College Health and Wellness Professional (CHWP), Registered Yoga Teacher (500 RYT), a mindfulness instructor, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy Coach. She is also a current student in the Mind-Body Healing / Wellness Certificate at the Warner School of Education.Ìý

Sean completed their MS in Student Affairs from the Rochester in 2012, received their MS in Human Resource Development from 91Ô´´ Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing their PhD in Higher Education at the Rochester.Ìý

Director, Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center
Gaelen is the founding director of Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center at U91Ô´´ which seeks support musicians’ wellness and access to specialized healthcare, and integration of the arts into healthcare. She holds degrees in music performance from the Eastman School and Carnegie Mellon University and is an alumna of the League of American Orchestras Essentials of Orchestral Management training program. She earned her credential as a Mindful Outdoor Guide from the Kripalu School for Mindful Outdoor Leadership in 2020.ÌýÌý

Shamus is an acupuncture and Eastern medicine practitioner with over two decades of experience in holistic healthcare. He is the founder of ACU 585 in Brighton, NY. He holds a doctorate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture at Northeast College of Health Sciences, as well as advanced Chinese herbal medicine training at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Philadelphia, PA. Over the years, he has studied extensively, including medical Qi Gong under 5th-generation acupuncturist and Qi Gong master Grandmaster Tzu Kuo Shih, OMD, L.Ac.ÌýÌý
