Starting out in research comes with plenty of questions, surprises, and 鈥渨ait鈥� what do I do now?鈥� moments. The good news: you don鈥檛 have to have it all figured out. In this interactive workshop, we鈥檒l explore the personal qualities that help you thrive as a responsible researcher and work through real ethical dilemmas drawn from the Dilemma Game. Together, we鈥檒l examine practical decision-making strategies and discuss how to navigate common gray areas in research practice, including the responsible use of AI in scholarly publishing.

Learning outcomes: By attending this session, you鈥檒l be able to:
- Recognize the personal strengths and habits that help you build honest, trustworthy research from the start.
- Make thoughtful, confident decisions when facing ethical dilemmas in your research.
- Develop awareness of how to use AI responsibly in scholarly publishing.
